What I still don't understand is why most arguments revolve around revolution or an uprising against the government? If you fear this, then you should be taking action NOW utilising the means available to you, like elections for example.... vote for a leader who represents your wishes...

or move to a country where the grass is greener.. why live your life in fear ?

2) The very act of having a means of defending yourself, puts the government into a position where they CANNOT put out tyrannical laws.

Didn't stop the patriot act, doesn't stop the ex judicial assassination of Americans (including a 16 yr old), didn't stop the ridiculously punitive computer laws that made Aaron Swartz kill himself.

How many people do you know who have been drug tested for their crappy jobs, or in school? I know zero.

Is that why almost all the US tanks destroyed in Iraq got taken out by specialized, precision munitions manufactured in Iran, and before that supply chain was established, they'd routinely survive direct hits by IED's made from artillery shells?

4) The military doesn't stand a fucking chance in hell against American gun owners. They would be wiped out within days/weeks, and every American base would be occupied.

Only if the soldiers desert. If they are somehow compelled to do their normal duty, no civilian population can stand against them, no matter how well armed.

I would also argue that in Iraq and Afghanistan, their gun culture was down to one word: Kalashnikov, a weapon of war. American gun culture is far more diverse. How are you going to go against the military superpower with hand guns and shot guns?

tanks and drones, but even so a 2.1 million man army vs 300 million armed Americans is a tougher battle then you would think. Sure on paper it looks like a walk over with all the precision weaponry, but still all you need to do is look back at Vietnam and its a clear example of how human ingenuity can over come great odds.

people always want to fight the last war, thinking everything is going to be the same all over, but in war there are many factors that evolve and change. I dont even think most military would even follow these orders when they have been left in these hell holes for decades. I think there is a huge military coop coming, and the government even knows it. Why do you think obama had the marines at his inauguration disarmed?! (they had guns with no bolt carriers in them) he is obviously concerned with the morale of the military.

funny thing is this could all be turned around in seconds if the sell outs just stopped going along and started to sabotage these scum who want to kill and imprison everyone. even the dumbest sell out is sooner or later going to realize that he is just a pawn who is going to have the same fate as the people he is deceiving. Its a matter of human nature when your own survival is put into question, and you are going to help the side who can help you, and that is the people you been trying to fuck over all along.

vietcong did a hell of a number with just sticks... never underestimate human ingenuity. and there is one thing in war that can never be countered or beat, even by the best of military, and that is sabotage. the right person at the right time, can literally bring down the whole system with the right monkey-wrentch in the right gear so to say.

Do you really believe you are ever going to need guns to defend yourselves against your own government? Do you really 'hands on heart' believe this? If so, why the fuck are you wasting your time voting in numbskulls who you don't trust?


You are either for democracy, in which case you run your greivances through the system and get your outcomes when the majority agree, or you don't believe in your democracy nor democratic processes, in which case you are a lost cause. But you can't have it both ways.. the system either works or it does not, it doesn't just work on the issues YOU agree with.

When people need to think against their 'elected' leaders, there are issues present that go beyond the gun, the gun is the end game should all else fail... but from what I can see, the game isn't even being played.

Want real change? Get involved in the system your forefathers established, the very system which enabled the establishment of the 2nd amendement that you are all trying to protect.. real men foster change, men who resort to violence and intimidation through threats, are cowardice.
