Astral Projection

I have had a couple of astral projections when i was 3 years old which were very vivid, The 1st time i was in bed drifting off too sleep when i felt like a pulsing sensation going up my body and then i felt my self lift up my head which scared me so i came out of it, The 2nd time i stood up opened my eyes and within seconds i was flying through the air, I saw my parents downstairs and everything else, Then flew back up stairs and saw myself asleep.
I have had a couple since but not as intense as when i was younger.
I have difficulty with the amount of relaxation needed to perform it at the moment, But the easiest way to acheive it is to just feel yourself sinking into your bed while thinking of just one thing all the time untill your body falls asleep, You might feel a slight crushing pain in your chest or pulsing sensations, If you get those you are nearly there, Just dont be fearful of it and you will acheive it :flop:

I had an OBE when I was a teenager, but I chalk it up to a chemical imbalance in my teenage brain. Perhaps my brain released a bit of DMT. Or maybe it was a Lucid dream, it did seem very real and I have not been able to recreate the experience, but those things seem more plausible....although boring.

ok well I did it last night... I believe I reached two of you here from DTV
1st person... right off the bat got the feeling they do not let down their guard at all they dont trust anyone..... so it was hard to find this person... I could hear the person but not see the person..
as I tried to get closer I was misdirected... don't know why... but I also get the feeling that person one and person two were very much expecting me last night....
ok so the first person did hear me and did feel me... but doesn't trust me... oh well..

person two... was very open... was expecting me... but this persons voice I could hear sounded like they smoke dope or was drugged up... they had to be up not sleeping.. cause I could see lights on in the house and the color of furniture..
any ways I am not going to say who... these two were... maybe they remember me from last night..

there was two other people too... the third one... well.. they are a member here too... I didn't like what I seen with this person... very very bad vibes =S
I really thought I would have fun with this one but im not gunna go there with this one... and they are a member here...
the fourth one... I was pretty much getting tired and passed out... besides this fourth person I have already visited... and I diffidently know how to find this person at any time..

O.K. This is weird. I have been trying for a few months to successfully have an OBE. I can't quite seem to do the right things, or focus in the correct way, or something.

I went to sleep pretty late last night, around 2:30a.m.+ or -. and got up pretty early, at about 6:00. Long story short- I was sitting at my desk-here at home- and was browsing DTV, and dozed off- at around 8:30, or 9-ish. Well, don't know that for sure because of the following. When I woke up, or whatever you want to call it, I remembered immediately, and very distinctly-without any question- that I had just had a partial OBE. I was not trying to do that at that time. What I remembered is that I was trying to stand up from my chair. I was standing up, or half standing, one hand on the edge of my desk, yet I was looking down at my still sitting body- well torso, arms and legs- even though I felt my arms and legs and body trying to stand, my head seems to have been stuck or something was stuck because I couldn't get anywhere. I just kept trying to move away from where I was standing- which was basically on top of my own body- as if I had separated to some degree, but was still attached and could not get any further. Now, I really don't think that I was dreaming because- well I can't say exactly- but I really believe that I was in a partial out-of-body state. I have never before had this kind of experience. Frickin' weird. Does this mean that I am finally at the threshold of being able to successfully achieve this, or do you think that It was just freak occurrence that had nothing to do with OBE's? What struck me hardest, aside from the obvious, is that I had such a strange feeling that I hadn't been asleep, and I have never before felt the way that I did after this. Hard to explain, but seemed like, i don't know, like I had just experienced something extrememly abnormal to my previous experiences. In addition to that, I had the vague feeling that someone else was there, like at the entry door to my media room, where I was sitting, but could not focus on them, because I was trying to stand and wondering why the hell I was looking down at my unmoving body. Hope that this is only the beginning.
Just wanted to share.

If I can do it when not trying, then can't I do it when actually attempting it?

I tried last night but couldnt focus and relax coz my kids was whiny as hell wakeing up every ten minutes. Then im scared too, this paralysis state you are talking about its one of my worst fears being paralyzed, though I experience it almost daily having an hour drive to work, and often feel that im numbing off in my arms and legs, floating away in my fantasies and not being able to see straight, not dozing off though just floating away..

But being scared of it must mean I believe in it and can be able to do it, right?

@dirttyrabbit, Hi it was not a mistake about 3 years old if thats what you mean, I can remember it was then as other things happened in my life at that time, I carnt remember anything before that by the way lol

Since my first visit to this site about 18 months ago iv learnt to oobe. (thanks dtv). Since having only learnt of this practice in this time iv only managed to got out of body twice the rest of the times i get only half way and cant achieve the total out of body experience.
The best feeling!! words cannot explain..

It is one of the best experiences you can have and the best part is everyone can do it :flop:
