During my reading of this forum I haven't come across Astral projection.
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/
This forum is best resource for learning how to astral project. Believe me believe in Astral projection, and I think its one of the best resources to use when finding out the truth.
Please guy's by all mean's post it up. Astral projection is a good opportunity to discover the world and open you up to all the possibilities.
Don't you think its time to go and see thing's for yourself rather than beleive something when it is typed up here on this forum?
It's time that we gather together as one and train in astral projection, educated ourselves, and become aware of our surroundings.
You want answers, you may as well start with astral projection.

I can't get into that kind of stuff... However, I am sure someone will appreciate your post!

My original and favorite for Astral Projection info is Robert Bruce's site: http://www.astraldynamics.com/home/
I've actually been to a couple of his workshops. He's definitely one of the most humble, honest guy's in the field that I've ever met. It's funny actually, I've been feeling like I'm gonna have an OBE the whole time I've been typing this. Have fun on the other side!

Have you been successful yet? Thanks for the link. I've been working towards it for a few months. Lots of reading, but no success yet. What do you guys think about the apparatus that you can get. You know, with the built in red lite to remind you that you're dreaming? -or to keep your conscious mind awake? Haven't tried it, and wonder if it helps.

Robert Monroe is the other big name to look for material from.
His value for me, lie in his several 'escape' techniques.
They addressed a specific problem i was having, and that was getting stuck.
(i would almost leave my body but be anchored to it by my head or throat or chest...left to flail around the bed in circles like Angus Young spinning himself on the stage floor while ripping a solo)
The other problem is un-intentional OBES, and during those its hard, sometimes even after having many of them, to know what has actually happened. In my case, i feel as though i had awoken and gotten out of bed, but things wont be quite right, and then when i try the lights none of them work.
A little unsettling.
Half the time it reminds me where i am, and the other half, i forget completely and go into a medium level scare freakout...(i would caution people new to this not try not to be surprised if you have company once you leave your body.)I have three traveling companions that appear once i leave my body, and it appears their goal is to spook me into saying put in my body. gatekeepers to the Subconscious? Dunno..plausible..
(i am 100% convinced by the way that 99% of all abduction cases involve these three critters im talking about, but i let people have their thoughts on that...I just have mine...they match the typical tall skinny thing, and short squatty things to a tee and thats good enough for me....But i recognize that im not being abducted, but during sleep paralysis if they appear, it mimics an abduction pretty closely..
Some say its dangerous, some say its harmless.
I am convinced it can be both.

How does that not freak you out when you encounter it?
I think that it would be pretty damn scary. Do you use a device, or how do you maintain your conscious state while your body falls asleep?

The Bruce site looks like it was last updated prior to Jan. 2009. Is he still around? Or a different site?

ya i read monroes book as well .i did have an experience of everything but my head floating up a couple of inches ..significantly enough for me to notice . lol my head .was on the pillow and i got scared and was actually grabbing the pillow . its like you get tingles .. almost like pins and needles and you become aware of your shell more then any other time ..i got freaked out and havent tried since ..i think its because i read that some malevolent entities on the atral plane can cut your cord which extends from your body .. dont take my word for it if you want but try it out you mught be suprised how easy it is to do

Wow thats awesome! I think I would freak out, what if you wont come back? I wanna try it, but meeting entities? My house is haunted enough as it is now with ghosts opening curtains and making sounds(not so scary but quite annoying). In what ways could it be dangerous, could the entities follow you back into "reality" or could you die?
