Robert Monroe is the other big name to look for material from.
His value for me, lie in his several 'escape' techniques.
They addressed a specific problem i was having, and that was getting stuck.
(i would almost leave my body but be anchored to it by my head or throat or chest...left to flail around the bed in circles like Angus Young spinning himself on the stage floor while ripping a solo)
The other problem is un-intentional OBES, and during those its hard, sometimes even after having many of them, to know what has actually happened. In my case, i feel as though i had awoken and gotten out of bed, but things wont be quite right, and then when i try the lights none of them work.
A little unsettling.
Half the time it reminds me where i am, and the other half, i forget completely and go into a medium level scare freakout...(i would caution people new to this not try not to be surprised if you have company once you leave your body.)I have three traveling companions that appear once i leave my body, and it appears their goal is to spook me into saying put in my body. gatekeepers to the Subconscious? Dunno..plausible..
(i am 100% convinced by the way that 99% of all abduction cases involve these three critters im talking about, but i let people have their thoughts on that...I just have mine...they match the typical tall skinny thing, and short squatty things to a tee and thats good enough for me....But i recognize that im not being abducted, but during sleep paralysis if they appear, it mimics an abduction pretty closely..
Some say its dangerous, some say its harmless.
I am convinced it can be both.
Wow thats awesome! I think I would freak out, what if you wont come back? I wanna try it, but meeting entities? My house is haunted enough as it is now with ghosts opening curtains and making sounds(not so scary but quite annoying). In what ways could it be dangerous, could the entities follow you back into "reality" or could you die?
