yep.finding "intelligent" life could be a whole other problem.
There just may be all sorts of creatures on other planets.Dinosaurs(hahah...maybe),but they're just animals.as we have animals here..probably many worlds like that out there that have life, but no intelligent life.

I really cannot agree with you last statement, how do you recon?
Because if you think about it our universe is about 14 billion years old (as far as we know) and our solar system is about 4.5 billion years old. Our Sun isn't the oldest star by far, so you can easily say solar systems which are, let say, 1 billion years older than ours, might harbour intelligent life which also is much more advanced than us and lots of them might already be extinct.
The only thing we have in common with intelligent aliens throughout the universe is; we all share the same history in evolution, there is no doubt in my mind we are all alike in basic.

Something has bugged me for a while, with all these new "Earth-like" planets out there, it doesn't mean the evolution of any life has followed ours.
For all we know Turtles have evolved to a point there are using tools & creating things .
So maybe it's one of these Space Turtles visiting us.. cool

Human evolution and the history of our earth had alot of specific changes. What would of happened if the dinosaurs were never wiped out? or if we had no ice age? how much of an effect would that have on our evolution?
I'm not saying intelligent life isn't out there at all,I just think to find the ones we would like to find(ones like us) is another matter.

Doesn't matter what they look like, they evolve on the same way I guess. Discovering fire for example, making use of other creatures for transportation, that kind of stuff. I don't think all aliens are humanlike they might as well be Pindzy Reptillians for all I care, but humanlike aliens are out there that I am positive off.
There are aliens out there which are more advanced than we are. For me it is just logical thinking, when you look at the creation of the universe thus far and the discovery’s being done lately and besides that, because our solar system is in is middle ages, so older solar system are out there.

Than we would all look like a T-Rex, but able to think intelligent, that's what I am guessing of course. Just like we once walked with four legs instead of two.
Point here is about the habitable zone. This means the environment is suitable for mammals to survive and grow. Of course there could be life forms outside this zone, micro bugs or something, but we are talking about planets which our located in the habitable zone surrounding a star, similar to ours.
Every creature evolves in the same way. We all have food chains this would not be any different on other planets I guess.
Ask yourself this, why doesn't a tiger ride a horse and making fire, why are we the only species on this planet that can do that? Genetically decided by universal genetics I guess, what do you think? Or am I really loosing it here?

No you are not loosing it. The wonder of thinking of the possibilties of different beings is what I have. I used to read so much sci fi when I was younger and so much has come true, so how far out is it when it is just about accepted. I want my sports disk.

If that's the case then crocodiles would rule the world.
It makes me think,
if and will that life form evolve to understand what it's mother star is? and if then it will understand that it's mother star is expanding(as all stars do) and then understand that one day it will have to vacate that planet at some point in time if it's species is to survive? and evolve fast enough to "understand" before it's too late?
Our DNA makes the difference, so it is genetically decided on this planet we the humans evolve with intelligence.
On some other planets it maybe totally different, depending on how us humans got that DNA particle what puts us above on the food chain and besides that intelligent to create a technological evolution.
If that particle is only "available" to human likes throughout space, Pindz his theory would go straight into the garbage can.
If that particle is "delivered" to us by a meteorite or something, than it would be possible a dinosaurman is sitting behind his computer on some other planet, while we speak.......

Oke, trying to land on both feet’s again!
