today i had a lil discussion about religion with a dumb and a gay relative..

ze dumb one was just dumb and uttered nothing of interest..

but ze gay... he was clever.. and he had a couple of cards in his pocket...

first he played ze conspiracy card.. "religion was invented to control states!"

uh hu... cool.. so 50-80 people in a military occupied area hecked out ze devilish plan to invent religion to take over ze world??? and succeed..???

then came ze constantine card.. "had he not raised christianity by proclaiming it the official religion... x-tianity would not be what it is 2day...!!"

hell.. but it IS!! ze roman empire lies down in ze dust of time... and "x-tianity" gets bigger every day...

zen he played my fav card... ze science card... "we know more today.. we dont need such a thing as religion, EVERYTHING is s scientifically explainable..."

oh rly?

i asked him to explain ze 2nd law of thermodynamics to me... and why we exist...

"well get behind zis soon"... was his reply...

My answer to skeptics of Christ, ( when playing devils advocate) is you can not have smoke without fire.
How can Jesus have not existed if his teachings took over the world and made Christianity the greatest religion in existence. It took just 360+ years to take over as the official religion of the Romans.
If he did not exist how could this be.
