Ahh yes, I came across this on the other Site and was very moved by it. Little would I know that later in the day a friend of mine dealing with a somewhat similiar situation would talk to me and bring up the issues with their child.

By simply sharing this link with them it has now started a chain reaction of understanding within their family.

That is one powerful fucking video.

Thank you for posting this.

My mother has her masters in special education and specifically in working with children on the spectrum.

Carly is not only the most important aspect to Autism efforts today, but is also a wonderful, and extremely intelligent young woman.

She has a facebook page that people can ask her questions and discuss the various situations she endures moment by moment and in this allows people like my mother and countless others, to begin to be able to finally break the barriers between the Autistic mind and ourselves.

This is a testament to realizing "They Have A Voice"
