I've been skeptical - I hate blockbusters, but even jaded movie critics are proclaiming a new age in cinema...

I hope the movie is better than the game (was not impressed at all with the PC demo) and Im curious to see if the movie eventualy gets released on Blu ray with support for Nvidia 3d vision shutter glasses on the PC ( I own a set) and they are awesome.. Stereoscopic 3d technology has come a LONG way since the 90's.

Come on man - NEVER buy video games based on movies - they all suck!
Hook up with me on some PS3 - Madden 2010 or SOCOM Navy Seals.

Been thinking about this all day, and i just had to say it again.
Holy Shit.
And no, im generally not a blockbuster dude...
And the story is not a groundbreaker.
But
oh...em....eff....gee.
And dont let prior 3d movie experiences bias you.
I promise ouve never seen anythng like this before,
and the best part, is that it was not jarring or unnatural AT ALL.
You slip rightin, and its almost as if you wonder why movies werent always done like this. Then you remember that they had to invent the technology to even do this.
So yeah the gauntlet has been thrown down.
And whats REALLY col, is that it appears that Depps Alice in Wonderland MAY be in 3d as well. There was a trailer, and i cant imagine them shooting a separate 3d trailer.
If Avatar is any indicator of whats coming down the pike..seriously get your seat belts on.
ALL of the movies in the preview were 3d, so there is some OTHER cool fun looking stuff coming up too. Yes, its going to become faddish too, with poor examples, but when they take the time to do it right..worth every penny.
No headache...total suspension of disbelief.
Yes, im going back to see it again.
If you have fungus access...holy.....shit.
yea.

Hi there! LowSix I have watched the movie, and to be hones It was Blody Brilliant!!! (watched in cinema 3D) This movie went up to my personal number 1, thereby moving The Last Samurai to the 2nd place
This is the best movie that James Cameron has created so far! And i hope there will be the 2nd one!
However my experience was not perfect, because there were 5 girls sitting row behind me and they were laughing their asses off when Neytiri's father has died, and when the Tree fall down... I would of cried at that part if they didnt laugh!!
Overall I would say that this movie deserves 9/5 Stars!!
