hey demobe, and whoever else that may be reading; I went to user control panel/ profile/ edit avatar, I don't have "upload from my machine"?
any ideas?

DOH! WTH did i do wrong? tried to post a screen shot! I uploaded it to dtv, how should it have been done?

top right hand corner user panel
click profile
then click edit avatar
