A hospital has introduced a system to give babies barcode wristbands rather than hand-written bands, it has said.

Uh... because barcodes are more "legible" (with the aid of a scanner) and can hold more information (DOB, TOB, Blood Type, etc) than hand-written bands.

What's the problem here?

We can't throw the baby out with the bathwater (so to speak!). As long as they are not permanently tattooing the bar-codes into little babies' foreheads, I think we can safely assume this is merely a more accurate and secure way to process a baby's medical records through the system and not some overture to the evil machinations of the NWO!

Now if they had been contemplating micro-chipping the babies, I would have been more disturbed.

That's on the cards no doubt - but until then I'm not going to get too worked up about it.

In fact, I'm getting a little tired of trying to fight the fight on the behalf people too dense and 'asleep' to see the manipulations that are going on right under their noses - maybe the 'brainless sheep' really are deserving of being culled?

Yeah, microchipping at birth would be controversial,

but here, it's not like they're adding anything new; the information was already being stored in computers anyways, now the bracelets are just more informative.
