The dude is describing the essence of the trouble with present day capitalism and the morals & values enclosed therein. Or absent therein rather. Read Ayn Rand's 'Atlas Shrugged' and know the logic that lies at the basis of this self- centred 'rational'.

Western countries enmassing monetary assets through their corporations, sucking the 3rd world countries dry of any natural resource. Resulting in below par living conditions for 99.9% of the 3rd world inhabitants. Not even mentioning the cold hard cash that is earned on the stock market, speculating on the price of grain / veggies for instance. Resulting in lots of cash for the speculators, but also bringing the price of grain / vegetables up so much the people cannot afford to buy it anymore.

On a lower level the same is true. Within developed / Western countries, you have families / individuals enmassing so much cash they dont know what to do with it. Buying all sorts of ridiculous bs. Several exorbitant houses, several unimaginably expensive cars, handbags / watches costing $1000+. worn by arrogant, self glorifying 'look at me' individuals. Makes me sick.. While others struggle to hold on to their 3 [parttime] jobs, get evicted, dont know what they're going to eat that evening. I need'nt mention the manipulating role the stock market had on 'regular joe' on this level as well.

Unless this situation changes, and we all get some semblance of an inherant need to help other people out instead of getting real rich real fast no matter what the cost.. Were all fucked. We stay sad, spoiled little children who [actually] think themselves to be 'godlike', yet are the complete opposite. Completely worthless, meaningless fools - destroying eachother, slowly but steadily.
