Big,bright star like object Pennsylvania

Last night I saw A very bight star like object,low in the sky ,above a mountain
It was at the end of a thunderstorm, it was very dark with cloud cover .I did not know what to make of it,
i was thinking it was maybe a plane or tower, but the lightning flashed I could see it was neither.
I kept looking at it and it was getting brighter, I tried to get to my phone to get video, and all of a sudden
it sarted going dim and right before it went totally dim,it shot off to the west at a great speed.
It was in Clifford,pa
