And if you think about it , would it really matter , either way , if it was proven beyond a doubt that it was an extraterrestrial signal , even if that particular civilization no longer existed ? I mean if there's one , it would stand to reason that there's a lot more , I think that would phenomenally change the way humans view their place in this universe . Or like Eganthorn , said , maybe we'll stumble on to a great cosmic apple pie recipe.... :flop:
