Ooops my bad. I could have sworn I read that as the mexican border. Been up too long been posting all day.

But hey.....thanks for letting me know that canadians aren't sneaking across the border. Hope to see you on another thread someday........would love to address that "excuse me" attitude when I haven't completely screwed the pooch.

"Martial Law"......... has been on my mind since the media has begun to highlight the problems in our borders with the mexican drug war.....I just heard in the radio yesterday that President Obama has sent some military with "special gear" to help protect the borders.......now I might be stretchin' it a bit, but this is what popped into my head:

They seem to be 'highlighting' those drug wars in the borders of Mexico/U.s. as "really dangerous" (and getting out of hand), 'call in the troops' type of atmosphere.....could it be that sometime in the near future they.....'expect' the danger to come into our U.S. crossing the border (either by them letting those dangerous people in or them breaching our security); mainly for an excuse to promote their "martial law"......to so called protect us....could that be the excuse they need?

Then, while all of this chaos let us in on a few dangers coming our way, once they've placed their military where they want it....kind of like the game of chess.........curious thought......

I thought of that scenario too but what really gets me curious is the coincidence of both patrols strengthening security in tandem. maybe just that, a coincidence. but too obvious not to draw attention, especially around here. Any kind of activity is noticed because there never was any. an occasional truck load of drunks heading home avoiding the customs skipping the border at the wee hours of the morning when the secondary ports are closed. you almost get the feeling that they are staring at each other. its an unsettling feeling knowing they're hanging around.... on both sides.

from what i understood from the couple sites i've seen and heard on the news, newspapers and the internet, they are NOT armed but carrying out surveillance of the border and all info is monitored by the border patrol.

for now.
kodak makes cameras.
the military('homeland security') makes killing machines.
