Matt Simmons died of a heart attack while swimming at his house on the 7th of August 2010.



Heres a couple of interviews he gave exposing the failure of BP to handle the situation before his death.





And his final television appearance on 21st July 2010.



As well as radio appearances.




He was one of the main voices of concern surrounding the BP oil spill, and dared to go against the official lines publicly. What caused the heart attack is still unknown.
