actually ohj33bus thats exactly what they were. the spiral is created by the 2nd or 3rd stage debris thats been jettisoned from the rocket. When this debris hits was little atmosphere is left it spins. This because of the non-aerodynamic shape of said debris... much like when kite spins due to irregularities...

(this next part is my assumption, but its much better than wormhole explanation)
these peices are still releasing particles from the rocket exhaust and pick up the "blue" color in the same way our sky is blue when the light from the sun is scattered... hence a blue spiral...

Strange thing is that ill be damned if i ever saw a decent UFO clip with a massive trail like that,it lit up the sky,hardly a stealth launch + its old footage and its titled but i have to make a call regardless of titles

Cant see advanced otherworldly technology lighting up the sky from a launch so violently tbh
however im no expert at all but ill throw my two pence in the ring
All points to it being something quite normal,good joke though but i just love this picca
