Yeah, i dont recall seeing those before this year....
(doesnt mean they didnt happen, just didnt see em)

It doesnt appear to cause a reaction when it snaps or collapses though.
but This one is huge too, the distances are staggering.

Because it is NASA dude, once they realize there is a problem they do there best to take everything offline, see if the photos need to be doctored, then release some previous images to not cause mass hysteria..

those are some hugens, will be keeping an eye out as well.

No, there shouldn't have. EIT 195 and the LASCO cameras are the cameras on SOHO that update with short intervals. EIT 171, 284, 305 (the camera these images are from), and the MDI cameras are all more spaced out. :flop:
