Above are links to a couple of articles regarding Gordon Brown's meeting with the Israeli prime minister. I have to say I found the whole thing rather comical.

Firstly, Netanyahu urges action on Iran because "time is running out". It must be remembered that Israel has an illegal nuclear programme of its' own so it is notable that the impartial British media didn't pick up on this.

Secondly, he states that Palestinian refugees will have a right to return as do Jews but only on palestinian land. They will not be allowed to return to their homes because they are now in Israel and Israel is to be a Jewish state. Is it me or does this smack of racism? and, furthermore, in the modern age of Western secularism is it proper to foster what is in effect a theocracy.

I am absolutely sick to death of the treatment of the Palestinians and I am sick too of our spineless politicians doing nothing about it. I believe that if Israel was pressurised into humane behaviour peace could be achieved. Instead they are given free reign and billions of dollars of aid which they use to buy weapons. These weapons are then fired upon a virtually defenceless populace.

Am I alone in my disgust?

You are not alone. Pandering puppets are these politicians. If it wasn't for the Palestinians being injured as a result i'd nuke that bloody Israel. I'd turn it into a car park and give all the arabs the cars reclaimed from the zionists. They could do doughnuts all day long till their hearts were contented.
