to be honest, when i first saw this i thought it was a alien too but i looked again and i noticed that he seemed to have a hair line and it might look like he was looking down.. Then i realized if he was looking down, why would his hair have 2 weird bit ovals... So my conclusion is you know what

You can also see that the two canoes have a different shape and the native man has stuff stored in his canoe and the alien has none. This is clearly not meant to be a reflection but a symbol of a relationship. Another symbol is that the alien is shown right side up accordding to the Queen symbolizing the relationship between the aliens and the monarchy that have shaped the primitive people in the past.
