I have been saying this for years, that's why i will never go to the Canaries. The East coast of America better watch out as well for Tsunamis. Half the island will slide into the sea with catastrophic results.

Its approx 01:45 Central US.
I just finished hunting through ABC, CBS, FOX, The Associated Press, and the USGS.
Not one word from any of them.
I suppose they are going to wait until the east half of the US is treading water before they make any kind of an announcement - which I am sure if they do will be a major downplay of the potential.
I will be up most of the night following this.
Keep yer eyes and ears peeled folks
