Chavez Brings the House Down in Copenhagen
Friday, 18 December 2009
- These maniacs in Copenhagen are voting on your future:
President Chavez brought the house down.
When he said the process in Copenhagen was “not democratic, it is not inclusive, but isn’t that the reality of our world, the world is really an imperial dictatorship…down with imperial dictatorships” he got a rousing round of applause. And by rousing we mean Obama like applause during his campaigning.
When Chavez said there was a “silent and terrible ghost in the room” and that ghost was called capitalism, the applause was deafening.
But then he wound up to his grand conclusion – 20 minutes after his 5 minute speaking time was supposed to have ended and after quoting everyone from Karl Marx to Jesus Christ - “our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell....let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us.” He won a standing ovation.
The anti-capitalist theme was picked up on by Mr Mugabe, Zimbabwe’s veteran President, who is the target of Western sanctions over alleged human rights abuses.
“When these capitalist gods of carbon burp and belch their dangerous emissions, it’s we, the lesser mortals of the developing sphere who gasp and sink and eventually die. This is their public plan.
Nothing is real in Copenhagen - not the temperature record, not the predictions, not the agenda, not the “solution”. In fact, here’s how fake it all is:
The lead negotiator for the small island nation of Tuvalu, the bow-tie wearing Ian Fry, broke down as he begged delegates to take tough action.
“I woke up this morning crying,” and that’s not easy for a grown man to admit,” Mr Fry said on Saturday, as his eyes welled with tears.
”The fate of my country rests in your hands,” he concluded, as the audience exploded with wild applause

We keep so much from our friends and family. Why can't we all just say
how we feel and not get mad at each other?

that is indeed a great quote . the problem is that i don't believe politicians .
doesn't matter which country they come from, they all full of shit .
it would have been great if these countries where actually setting
examples for others and leading the fronts of pro environment
industries and societies ,but is that the case ?
i doubt that .
Ahmadinejad on one side diss capitalists and oil dephendent culture ,
but he doesn't have problems selling oil to china and enjoying the benefits
of the same system .
just like all politicians this guys are hypocrites , giving inflammatory
speechs is easy , acting according to it and implementing what was said
is completely different matter .

i agree with you all politicians are a waste of space and all religions are mass brainwashing so its down to us to make the difference ,ask the difficult questions and just try and get on
i like people who are not affaid to speak there mind ,you know were you are as opposed to the ones who are nice to your face then stab you in the back

But your own politicians are above question, Proto? You seem a bit reluctant at times to recognize the hypocrisy in your own backyard.
You are not as much of a twat as some of the twats who think you are a twat...

isn't that clear enough ? I'm not excluding any politician from this .
oh and it's not reluctantly to acknowledge the hypocrisy of my own
politicians that i have problem with , i have problems with plain lies
and cheap hate propaganda or biased one sided opinions .
