For in much wisdom is much grief,
And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.
Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

I realize that I did not bring any evidence to my post, which is my fault because this is a site that likes proof ; )
These are not my favorites, but this is the genre that I am talking about. I loved all the posts, but what I am getting into is the rap music that has a lot of piano, organs, and it is more like a song full of soul no matter what kind of mood. The first example you may say it is not rap but RnB, but the classic rap in northern California had a lot of "player" type styles to it, sounding funky or RnB and many had women singing the chorus, it is not a different genre than rap but a rap song that is a Real Song, lol. The second has a lot of soul, it is an example of a group that had one style in the 90s - a soulful/hardcore/alternative rap with good music, then a new age change starting around the time after the new millenium. It is common for groups to have this change at this time, which makes me conclude that it is not the artists, but the soul of rap has changed. Mr. Freejack can also be found on the web with new music, it sounds completely different than this, the soul has been taken out and new age rap production has been brought in.
