The clock thing reminds me of Meme. Although the word may offend some it is just a word. I am not sure or I just not figured out what cultural idea is [but have had some ideas by the posts] behind the "clock". I am not offended by it but a little bewildered. Good luck on your alls biological evolution what ever that may be.
