OK i'll be honest, i had never heard of this until your post!! looked through the basic meaning of it, understand the basic concept of the whole structure, but im afraid when it comes to computer "speak" its a bit like a maths lesson at school for me, ill really try my hardest but i always switch off and end up looking out the window within the first 5 mins!!

Lady Astor to Winston Churchill:

'If you were my husband, I would put poison in your coffee.'

Churchill: 'And if I were married to you, I would drink it.'

I would have concern about where and how the information is to be stored.

According to a few collegues of mine, the data will be stored in a central location below ground, wouldn't central data storage (of government data) not make it an obvious terrorist target?

Dropbox is an app which will become more widely used now that its available for the popular iphone and mobile computing and communication on the go!
The convenience of it all is commendable as long as good data protection is afforded to the user like all things data related I suppose.

i see it as another way of monitoring and controlling what we do on the net
and charging us just to get to our own stuff
my stuff is quite safe on my hard drive if it was on some internet locker i would
have to connect to the net every time i wanted to use or see my own stuff
