I dont know how relevant it is, but I look at:

http://www.solarham.net/

Just to see what the aurora is doing, I missed what it looked like from the aurora camera, but it was one helluva show, it stretch all the way down to Kansas city almost (guessing) between 2006 - 2009 (dont remember when).

anyway... just looking at it now and Ive never seen the solar winds so low:

Too bad that Shaggietrip and Muchtymanm dont post these videos with the ACE Real-Time Solar Wind detector, some of this has to hit the earth, especially when they alter the footage, cant cover up everything, no matter how much they try. Even the aurora map as well might have something interesting too. If theres a massive spike on the sun it should effect wind speeds, polarity and aurora readings here on earth even within a 45 degree angle.

And the sun images from the satellites being in 2D, one cant really tell which way it spreads out.

Just a thought. :headscratch:

I will try to include ACE a bit more. Thank you for the post and the suggestion.

First off, thats not what I was seeing when I was posted this.. the winds were way below 300 kps (+/- 250 kps) and like I said Ive never seen the winds that slow, they look "normal" now, the magnetics were "0" and the dynamic pressure was at 0.3 or so..

Now, it would be very interesting to see an intense blast and see how the ACE detector reacts to it, cause Ive never seen what ACE does during any one of these CMEs. It be wild to see one what it would look like, like the 1859 superstorm. Im sure it would be off the charts...

Keeping my eyes peeled to this thread... or the next.

wish you luck in syncing them all together... Id be impressed.

Here is a bad attempt to sync some things up from ACE. My first attempt and yes it took about 3hrs for this crappy video. I dont think I will achieve what I want with the warez I have. At least i gave it a shot. I may try another time.

I tried Chaindrive

Thank you Emaj. I needed something good after struggling to get that last post together. I may have to try to run some higher end warez on this pc. I doubt if it will work. It locks up enough with what I attempt to do at this time.

I will take this opportunity to thank everyone that visits and comment/posts on this thread.

Stay well

I totally agree, kudos to you Shaggie, I completely salute you in this attempt  and give you a........

btw... do you know how to do the chicken dance by chance... it just might help. :ohno:

anyway..........

But I dont think that the solar X-ray flux values measurements are really required in a video, even if they were off the charts. but yet could be posted if necessary on the thread. and splicing 2 videos on one wont work (too busy) and Im sure that the video frame would have to be far bigger to accommodate them both to look right, otherwise itll look too squished (among other technicalities). But scene 1 and a scene 2 would be acceptable, no matter who looked at it.... cause (1) and effect (2) sort of thing.. and having the ace detector used... well. if this blast "IS"... great... but the sun :badair: all the time... It would be a waste of time Im sure 75% of the time anyway....

Besides the solar risk percentage has been extremely quiet for quite a while.

I dont know.. maybe Im thinking too big as far as this Ace detector is concerned. and one would have to be AT the right place AT the right time to hit it.. but sense the sun is about to cycle the odds of probability are good.. but even still this is just a crap shoot.

Shaggie, I have faith in you in this Solar Cycle, but then again, these guys cant make up their minds whether it IS or not OR have to wait till 2022.. "Anybody got a quarter... we can flip for it." *shrug*

Youve just started.. and Im sure the Ace detector will serve a purpose.

Todays video is more like the usual videos. I will try to change things up just a bit when I have time to figure out a newer format or different regular items to include. I do not want the videos to be to long. It may become boring and or take me to long to produce. I will do what I can time providing. Today my time was a bit short. At least there were some events to capture.

I had to just grab some music so the fit is not the best.
