You can only have authority if you believe in heaven/hell, God;Jesus/lucifer , and know that the Word of God will ALWAYS be superior. satan/demons(fallen angels) were made by God and fell from grace, so He has the ultimate power in all things. "If you ask in Jesus name, so shall you recieve"

Not sure where the 'equation' thing works in here, but according to what I was brought up to believe, according to the Bible, Jesus and lucifer were both at the throne with God, lucifer decided he wanted to be God.When he didn't have the power to overthrow God, he was thrown from heaven and there were some of Gods angels that followed lucifer to hell. lucifer was originally the angel of light.
