The problem I see with anyone LEGALLY exercising the 2nd Amendment right is what the gentleman in the video I've included below runs into. Officers who will confront, and attempt to escalate a situation by way of verbal intimidation.
IMO, this gentleman may have been doing a public OC, to initiate a confrontation... but by doing so it gives everyone who watches the video a first hand look at how the Police handle themselves to try and convince people that it's wrong.

Shouting that Government is suppressing the people is like shouting that somebody pooped in the pool. It's only a funny statement until you realize it's true.
The guy in the video (the one filming) was making a point and being deliberately provocative, he did however show great restraint.. no doubt.
The officers in the video (IMO) were not trying to be confrontational, they were doing their jobs and also showed great restraint.
The problem I see is that the law is very devisive and unclear, and this video shows one thing, that the gun laws (just like any other laws) need to be reformed to eliminate this confusion.
I do not much like people referring back to the 'forefathers' in this context, to do so is irresponsible and makes a mockery of the society we live in. Much has changed from the days of the forefathers, and many many of our laws, regulations, and the general way we live and conduct ourselves has altered.. why should the issue of gun ownership be any different?
Have the people who are so much against gun control reforms been opposed to the same degree to other law reforms that they take for granted today?
And one more thing... who is to say that the 'forefather' got it right anyway... from my perspective they actually got it wrong...
a sign of the times, not a time for the signs...

Your are an idiot Bravo.. unable to have a view and hold an argument, you lurk in the shadows and then show your head just to insult, this shows the shallowness and lack of intelligence and the reason why TPTB are getting their way and winning the fight.. People like you are the reason why our rights get diminished through time.. better to stay a lurker and appear a fool than to post a stupid comment and remove all doubt.
You have been renamed from Bravo.. to Shemo... I will translate that for you... IDIOT!
Yes... times are a changing...

I agree some of the officers showed restraint, but at the beginning of the video the officer w/the sunglasses started using profanity, and had to be asked by the gentleman filming not to. This was his first step to attempt an escalation. Same exact tactic I've seen in other videos. Then that very same officer, throughout most of the rest of the video used an elevated voice in an attempt to bait the gentleman recording into an escalated verbal confrontation (2nd attempt...which did not work).
Compare that sun-glassed officers attitude to the other officers. They are all talking calmly to the gentleman recording while that officer tries his best to agitate the situation. That Officers whole attitude was unnecessary, and in fact with a lesser person behind the camera could have resulted in a totally different/tragic outcome.
Bravo69..... I agree with Iwanci..... quick, random demeaning posts do not add any insight, or understanding to the threads. State your opinions without personally attacking others on here. After all we're here to learn, and discuss topics like adults.

...it ain't gonna be no ''walk in the park'' if this goes much further..
.....but personally, i don't think anything is going to happen....the longer i look at it, i feel the gubermint is just blowing smoke up our collective ass.
......... they've got big bucks invested (somewhere) in this bullsh*t and are preparing to reap big profits
...there ain't gonna be no big fight....
and .....they don't have enough drones, if you think they're going to go that route...

I agree, the first officer with the sun glasses was initially very animated, couldbe explained by the fact that he didn't really understand what this person with the gun was doing, so he was trying to be authoritarian in order to stay in control, he then realised what was happening and so backed down, albeit after being reminded... I have known many police to be this way, probably a part of the job.. complaceancy may get you killed.
Iron, you are probably right mate, nothing may come from all this... however, I think if the people who affects this the most (the gun lobbyists) make it clear to the idiots (with guns or without guns) that stupidity or provocation on a sensitive issue, especially so soon, is not part of the responsible gun lobbyist views.. maybe the pressure will come off.. an 'us' vs 'them' situation never helps anyone..
