Earth may pass through the dust trails of Comet 209P/LINEAR's past orbits, and predictions range from 100 to a 'stormy' 1000 meteors an hour. Also, great views of Saturn, Mars and comet PanStarrs (C/2012 K1) will be available throughout the month.

Thanx for the info Evil, just hope this one produces some sort of spectacle, we've had a lot of "fails" to date so I hope this will give me something to look at from southern parts of Australia.

Nice update. Seems 209P/LINEAR has brightened I suspect it will hold together but it is weak. Hope some good captures are caught and posted.

Unfortunately I think if you are in the south east of Australia you wont be in a good spot for viewing.
