I think the breakdown is with people moreso than the system. We live in the most selfish of times ever, people are cattle or numbers to be exploited, and that is the mindset of the corporation. Flushing away the system won't change the hearts of men, it will take a spiritual evolution to do that, until then, expect any system implemented to get worse. There are no ultimate depths to depravity.
