I came to read this post (Because I'm English)

And I don't call myself English to antagonise.. merely because I am English, I have friends that are Scottish and Irish and Welsh and I respect their countries regardles.. We aren't British because we are independant countries..

At the end of the day this crap gets done under the name of everybodies flag colours.. I would prefer if this whole post didn't degenerate into a 'my country is better than your country' debate because, lets face it they are all as bad as each other..

We have done some terrible things under the English flag and it pains me to say that..

And we shouldn't let our history guide our futures.. we want disclosure on here and yet we cannot let go of things that happened generations ago.. sometimes the human race baffles me.. we are so totally self destructive.. What message does this pass on to our children? that it's ok to hate because its the way we are..? we should all attempt to change this, we are the ones in the best position to do so.. don't you think?

This is the reason i wont post statuses on facebook proclaiming how proud i am of my armed forces.. They don't fight for me and i have no interest in the falsity of wars that have ravaged countries in my name.. You want to make me proud? keep the hell out of it..

It's not the Guardian or posters you don't like on DVT making these allegations of "violent and cowardly" or "gratuitous" conduct towards civilians, but the establishment. The current defence secretary himself described the soldiers actions as "deplorable, shocking and shameful".

That just wouldn't happen unless the facts had been established.

I agree with you but bear in mind that the government are the cunts that orchestrate this whole bollox. They play both sides. They have to show a face of reason every now and then to keep the general populace thinking that our fake democracy is working so that in future scenarios the people will think that they are even handed. They do not give a fuck about you or the soldiers they send to do their dirty little deeds.

I would call for revolution, but I'm worried that most of the human race hasn't even been through evolution yet.
