Strange Flying Orange Lights ???

We had dozens of these strange orange lights fly over in the nights skies on the 26/03/2011. No one knows exactly what they are and still has us baffled. Strange but fascinating.... Song: Light Of Your Smile - Enigma.

MARYBOROUGH’S UFOs made another appearance over the weekend, with a local couple witnessing up to 16 bright lights flying in geometric patterns on Friday night.

Robert Kluytenberg and Michelle Johannessen saw the objects in the sky about 10pm and originally thought it was the start of a fireworks display.

That changed when more of the lights came over the horizon and joined the original group, until there were 16 moving slowly across the sky for about 30 minutes.

The flight seemed choreographed, according to Mr Kluytenberg, as the lights formed shapes such as diamonds and squares.

One then stopped and moved away in the opposite direction to the rest.

The lights finally disappeared when a plane approached, with Mr Kluytenberg saying that they appeared to turn around and move away from the aircraft.

Ms Johannessen attempted to take photos of the phenomenon, but nothing came through until the couple took about two minutes of footage on a mobile phone.

While examining the footage on a computer with their neighbour David Parker, all three noticed that the lights changed colour dramatically while in flight, which was not noticeable until viewed close up on screen.

The lights are said to change from a broad spectrum of colours, including orange, blue, green and pink.

Mr Kluytenberg told the Chronicle he was willing for the mobile phone and footage to be scientifically assessed to try to determine the answer to Maryborough’s UFO riddle.

like i said to chrisfry before lights on dark background are pointless.unless cam operator gets something else in the shot to show size and depth , it could be anything.for all we know it just someone standing in the dark with orange lights.
