If the CIA has spent so much effort over so many decades learning and training others how to conduct a coup d'etat, how much effort have they spent learning how to prevent a coup d'etat?

The americans had a 'coup d'etat' in 1963 - and most didn't even realise it, and still don't today - that's how good TPTB are.
