Below are three paintings prominently featured in the Bank of America Corporate Center in Charlotte, NC along with interpretations sent to us by a listener. This fresco was created by artist Benjamin F. Long.

Benjamin F. Long’s first secular fresco, and his largest work to date, consists of three panels composed for the dedication of the Bank of America Corporate Center dominating the lobby as no other artwork could, the panels present the themes of making/building, chaos/creativity, and planning/knowledge in an daring blend of abstract and realism, set off with touches of gold.

The interpretations below were sent in by a listener. Please comment below with your interpretations of what your take is of these fresco.

Image

This is the first of three in the order of timing of events. You see the classic Masonic checkered floor as part of the landscape that they control. You see the classic blond-haired, blue-eyed Arian “youth” in the classic Masonic heel-to-heel 90 degree stance. Take note to the burning bush blowing dead West. I see this as the Western World being burned and this is the current state of the dismantling affairs of the U.S. while Americans (in general) go unaware. I see this because of the white man right next to the burning bush and he is wearing a red sweater and blue jeans. Red, white and blue. He represents the majority of unaware Americans and remains distracted via the book he is reading while the bush (which again represents the Western World) is burning to the ground right next to him. Now, take a look at the female puppet on strings being controlled. Could this mean that the next President will be a woman? Most important is the group of characters at the bottom-left. This clearly shows a colonial forefather arguing with modern day “suits”. This is highly suggestive of constitutionalists arguing with the “New World” unfolding. Notice they are pointing to the Masonic Arian as the subject at hand? This suggests the Tea Party Movement and the fight against the coming-out of World Government. This is (now) in the first of these three key time eras.

Image

This is clearly inside the FEMA camp “era” we will soon move towards. You can see the back wall and you can see the side wall with barbed wire. You see the Elite above circling free and naked in their wealth and disgusting power while being separated from the chaos below via the net. They continue to oversee. Key characters in the crowd are Hazmat and Marines carrying rifles. You see all races and creeds as well as a Catholic Bishop, a Nun, a handcuffed man, a gas masked person, etc. You see an active burning industrial building in the background suggesting a crematory (think of the possibility of a mass of dead infected people from a biohazard release.) You see the classic Nazi gold eagle and flags. You see blank street signs suggesting you have nowhere to go. You see blank protest signs suggesting you have no voice. You see a cameraman in the dead center of the bottom of the painting with his camera looking right back at you (with your camera.)

Image

This is the final sequence preceding the FEMA camp era. Here you see the surviving slave population working below to acquire the wealth of the world. The shovel heads are rich gold in color suggesting gold as the resource to secure. Look at the next level of architecture above ground. You see the higher-level (educated/skilled) slaves re-building the “New World” while the Elite sleep restfully above in the hills continuing to oversee all operations. Although the basic architecture is similar to the current architecture of society, the picture is highly suggestive of the “rebuilding era” due to the clear portrayal of clean landscapes and “work” underway. This is the final era they are working towards once most of us have been eliminated and the “New World” is underway being rebuilt. What does “EQ” stand for on the red sign?

i disagree a little with the first one about the lady on strings, it looks more like the ladder leading up to the sun inbetween the two pillars that i have seen on a masonic picture only the sun is black instead like the nazis used to follow

This is creepy!!!
I googled the EQ and there are many definitions of it, but one of them is:

EQ actually stands for Emotional Intelligence Quotient. Much like an intelligence quotient, or IQ, an EQ is said to be a measure of a person’s emotional intelligence. However, there is much debate surrounding the legitimacy of a definition of emotional intelligence quotient, primarily because there is no standard against which it can be measured.

Research on EQ began with Yale psychologist Peter Salovey and John Mayer of the University of New Hampshire in the late 1980s. EQ is a concept that was further popularized by Daniel Goleman, another well-respected psychologist, who has written many books on the subject and is co-chair of The Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations. While these and many other psychology experts view EQ as a scientific study of social behavior and relationships, the actual science behind measuring EQ is often convoluted at best.

Regardless of the actual scientific basis of measuring EQ, the concept is used in many different settings. One particularly popular setting that employs attempts at measuring EQ is the corporate world. Many businesses utilize EQ tests to help their employees determine and measure their emotional responses to various situations. While most corporate EQ tests are administered on the basis that a person’s EQ can be modified or increased, there is dispute about whether emotional intelligence is standard or can be changed.

Currently there are studies being conducted on possible ways that an EQ may affect a person’s abilities to perform under pressure, resolve conflict, and generally cope with challenges. Of course those who are not proponents of the concept believe these abilities are simply a matter of personality, which cannot be measured or modified. Other studies have linked EQ measurements to communication and other social skills that people either lack or possess.

A person’s EQ can be measured using any one of a number of assessments, including one developed by the aforementioned Salovey and Mayer. Some assessments utilize self-given responses while others are peer-given responses. An EQ test may give insight into a person’s personality and psychological make up, but discovering the true meaning of EQ and its relationship to and impact on a person’s life and social performance may be years and many studies away from anything definitive
So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains
And we never even know we have the key.

An interesting post and a good theory about the art work - You ask what 'E.Q.' could mean, this site has an explanation of what it might be:

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/EQ

and here are some more possibilities:

http://www.acronymfinder.com/EQ.html

and if you add 'Red' to it, this site talks about 'Dragon Scales' - o.k. it's about a game, but interesting nevertheless, that 'Dragons' are reptiles!

Further down the rabbit hole or meaningless?

Focus on the good!

I know there's a certain attraction to finding out "the truth" about all these horrific scenarios and plans, but they are more like possibilities, than certainties.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, no matter how big or small.
I used to think there was no harm in merely observing things, and sort of sitting on the sidelines, but it all makes a difference bro. remember the old "evil triumphs because good men do nothing".

act as though the future you want to see has already come to pass.

the numbers of the shovels are interesting. You see a half a shovel on far left or .5 then 1 axe pick then 2 shovels then 4, it keeps doubling? why the axepick though?

Gross misinterpretations.

You're reading the painting sequence from right to left. Let's go left to right.

The first picture (http://static.infowars.com/2010/11/i/ar ... o_left.jpg) shows the working class at the bottom, but if you look at the expression, they are divided and skeptical of one another. (Ideological division that ultimately doesn't matter.) The shovels are gold means they follow a subjective theory of value, not an objective theory of value. The shovel, the tool, the labor itself is the real value, not what that labor actually yields. (Maintenance of full employment so that the working class never revolts is only possible using a subjective theory of value.) Because of the diverse genders and races involved, this suggests the entire world being treated as a dividable labor pool.

None the less, they are all working under the view of their overseer, the black fella with a red handkerchief. This labor force is extracting resources from the landscape that has a sleeping guy in the hillside. This may be is an allegory for the resources being extracted from unaware ("sleeping") populations by this system of labor.

In the second picture, (http://static.infowars.com/2010/11/i/ar ... center.jpg) the populations below are not addressing each other. They aren't even remotely acknowledging each other (With the exception of a child clinging to someone). They are locked away in their own individual experiences, wearing the attire and tending the jobs in their own personal universes. Techniques that keep people isolated (nationalism, religious, military, poverty) are rife. The surge of sexual activity going on above suggests a yearning for primitive connectivity, but this cannot be made possible because of a gilded net separating the two. This net is the actual symbol of power in this painting.

The third painting (http://static.infowars.com/2010/11/i/ar ... _right.jpg) is the idealized outcome of this setup: a world with no dependencies and no surprises.

The wild motion of the woman in the distance is actually not wild. It is completely contained by a transparent cube and directed by vectors reaching from the unknown. No pure wildness exists in this future.

Stairs that escalate upward are not supported by any architectural dependencies and is M.C. Escher/maze-like, suggesting that elevation is no longer a wild expression. Anyone who climbs the stairs will be trapped within the path laid before him and will ultimately collapse as it is designed to be structurally unsound. (Market volatility)

The sun is blotted out, and yet, all is visible, suggesting that no dependency on external energy is required and that all illumination comes from within. The shadow of the woman and the child are cast in different angles, reinforcing this concept.

The burning bush, a traditional manifestation of fantastical religion, tries its best convince someone to notice it, but it fails, suggesting that spirituality is no longer dependent on the myth of God.

The elite at the bottom (not at the top, reinforcing the idea that competitive markets are part of a control structure where being on the top isn't that important) are debating the presence of the child, who is standing on two different tiles on a checker-board, the ultimate act of defiance in this future where all wildness is controlled. They are confused as to why the new generation would want question this utopia and are discussing how best to handle the situation. The woman's hand is in a cusp, suggesting invitation and patience. The clearly irritated man is pointing with aggressive accusation, which ultimately leads to extermination.
