in my home country Greece jew people had the highest rate of survival in WWII because we helped them to hide and we can go out and beat a jew in the street if he acts like an asshole and nobody cares if he call us all a nazi , and the same thing apply s to everybody regardless of religion or color .

This is a good observation. I have had this discussion with many people who called themselves Jews even with or without true knowledge of which tribe they ascended from. I had a conversation with a guy once who knew his descendants were Levites but, he still called himself a Jew. Another example of this is to hear all the time that Moses led the Jews out of Egypt. Technically, this is true but there were also 11 other tribes led out. They were technically led out as the "Israelites" because Jacob called Israel took his whole family down there to live with Joseph; not just the tribe of Judah. When they left, they took Joseph's bones with them. In the old Testament of the Bible the name "Jew" does not show up until the book of 1st or 2nd Kings and when it does, the Jews are at war with Israel.
