No its not I posted what the artist said a page before.

Yeah I read that, did you watch the video, its amazing what people can see in any type of artwork, we all bring our own prejdudice when veiwing any work of art.
(and to go a bit off topic, I include crop circles in that catagory)

Exactly.

If the artist says one thing, then that is THEIR take on their artwork.

But do you realize that the reason they were commissioned in the first place has nothing to do with "their" take"?

I mean to say, I painted a picture of love and fruitful outcome. But I was paid and so my further involvement now means nothing. This is what happened to Galileo, Michaelangelo, and especially da Vinci.

It's a non compos mentus point.

In essence, those who were involved in designing the artwork did their deed and left. They mean nothing now. And, hate to say it, but they have no idea what they were part of.

It's like saying you were personally responsible for George Bush. Of course you were not.

Neither were they in their work.

hmm thats interesting ..i didnt see anything about the gargoyle in there though ..its too bad becasue its a pretty glaring part of the scenery ..lol good post though
