But ya know Blacky............They are just books...........

Books lead to dead ends............

Perhaps we are initiates unaware, I don't know.........

I have come to realize that we can never read and apply ultimate truth........it unfolds in layers.....

Shrek is my hero................He knows about an onion and it's layers.........We can peel layer by layer and eliminate but only from our own spirit within will the truth be known..............

I hate those words........so simple yet so complex..........and so true!

what do you guys think about this one?

Kumari Kandam and Lemuria
Kumari Kandam is a legendary sunken kingdom sometimes compared with Lemuria (cf. works of G. Devaneyan, Tamil: ஞானமுத்தன் தேவநேயன்).In Tamil tradition, Kumari Kandam is referred to as the Land of Purity, a sophisticated kingdom of higher learning, located south of Kanyakumari or Cape Comorin. During a violent geologic catastrophy the entire island was submerged under the water. The survivors migrated to the present Indian subcontinent and supposedly sparked the Indus Valley civilization. This mass of land is often compared to the island of Lemuria[7].

According to these modernist interpretations of motifs in classical Tamil literature — the epics Cilappatikaram and Manimekalai that describe the submerged city of Puhar[8]— the Dravidians originally came from land south of the present day coast of South India that became submerged by successive floods. There are various claims from Tamil authors that there was a large land mass connecting Australia and the present day Tamil Nadu coast.

Another piece of literature in Ayyavazhi mythology, specifically Akilathirattu Ammanai speaks of a sunken land about 152 miles south or south east of present day Kanyakumari. It goes on to describe the civilization with exactly 16008 streets[8].

maybe lemuria and atlantis were just a myth
francis bacon also called america as new atlantis
blavadsky have contributed a lot to the theology and was said that she stayed in south india and egypt to learn about their religion could atlantis and lemuria be just a myth created by her?

Hello.

I bet the myth of the land of Lemuria is derived from ancient Roman customs of Remembering the dead or spirits of the Ancients.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemures

So Lemuria could be just "the Land of The Dead(=human spirits)" ...so this would mean that my dead old man is now a "lemur"

..but i doubt he has turned into an egg leying "human" like the Lemuria legend goes ..that humans in those times layed eggs ..humans apparently weren't mammals in those days. ...sounds quite natural and realistic, right? lol.

If you use a google Earth or some other type of the world map, you can see quite easilly that all the "todays continents" and land masses match with each other like a puzzle, no peaces missing ...there are no sunken continents ..no Atlantis and no Lemuria/Mu.

The Lemuria myth prolly comes from Ancestor worship, the lemures.

And the Atlantis myth, imo, like they thorize is a political satire about the political sceming of Platos time.

Peace.

Anyone see that Discovery Channel show about Earth Weather or something like that...
well they were saying as the world rotation slows, the oceans receed to the poles, opening up vast land masses in the oceans. and i was thinking... maybe this happening in ancient times, and Lemuria, Atlantis, & Mu were formed. After thousands of years the earth spin increased & Oceans returned flooding the new continents.

i didn't see the video you are describing, but I watched a video few days ago with I believe it was Graham Hancock and David Wilcocks (eheheh 2 cocks  :P ) where Graham explained that it is absurd to not believe that there are many lost sunken civilisations... as hes tates that when the last ice age ended... all the ice that melted made the water arise near the coastlines where people would settle themselfs due to high furtilization area's! So when the floods from the ice age came, it took down most of those sophisticated cultures near the coasts around the world.. .so few fled to the mountains and higher ground (which were the elite of those time) to settle in again, and tell the future generations in their twisted words..!

well that was a little parafrasing with my own words in it hehehe :D But also if you take a look at Michael tsarions work it is my opinion insane to believe there were no sophisticated cultures in pre-deluvian times..

my rant for now
The Map Is Not The Territory, The Word Is Not The Object....
