Greetings,
As you might have noticed we have introduced Digg badges within the first post of every forum thread and on the video pages to provide an easy means to introduce new and original Disclose.tv content to
Digg.com, as well as provide a seamless way to "digg up" that content from within Disclose.tv.
Digg is popular site that aggregates user-submitted web pages or videos and enables the users and readers of Digg to rank the importance of the content. When a story or video is submitted, it has up to 24 hours to make it to the front page or longer if it has not been marked as duplicate, spam, wrong topic, inaccurate or lame.
One of the main reasons Digg is so popular is because it
can drive thousands of visitors to a web page within minutes. So, if you think a forum thread or video is rather interesting you can submit or "digg it up" on Digg by clicking on the new badges.
The more members "digg up" an item in a short period of time the higher the chances are to make it to the front page on Digg. This can be a very effective method for increasing the awareness of the excellent work of our members.Looking forward to our first thread or video that makes it to the Digg front page
Happy digg'in and a nice Sunday,
Lukas

Disclaimer:You must have a Digg membership to submit and digg stories.
It's free to sign up. You can join Digg here:
http://digg.com/register/Some helpful guidelines for successful digging:USE THE DTV TITLE: When completing your submission on Digg, make sure you use the actual title of the thread or video here on DTV in the "Title" field on the Digg submission form. Should be copied automatically.
WRITE AN INTERESTING DESCRIPTION: When you're submitting content, make sure you copy-and-past a portion of the text from the original forum post or video description into the "Description" field on the Digg submission form. Should be copied automatically. However, it is advised to revise the text, if necessary.
PICK A GOOD IMAGE: The Digg submission form allows you to pick one of the images they've captured from the page you're submitting. A thumbnail is generated for video submissions automatically. For forum submissions usually the forum icon is picked, and that's often the best image to use. However, please feel free to pick another image, if it fits better to the context.
DEFINE THE RELEVANT TOPIC: Your Digg submission has a much better chance of getting noticed if you place it into the relevant topical category. Many regular visitors and users of Digg regularly go past the home page into their favorite sections and categories.
