Yeah, this clip was posted on here a few months back if I remember correctly. You would expect more of a response from people on the planes audio seeing something like that if it were there. Peeps always looking out windows on flights....

there is some chatter in the background ..... i also suspect fake due to the lack of reaction
the disc and its movment do look cgi'ish, with transparency effects this is very do-able
the window part is the "convincer" in this imo, makes you think, that must be real.

it was filmed with a camcorder as the lens is clearly visable in the window in places
so there has to be a higher quality version, if its out there i susspect the cgi parts would be very easy to spot.

The second video made me chuckle. The videogrpher forgot to add his CGI @ the lower part of the pylon at the rear end of the nasell.

I saw some documentary about the future generation of composite materials reacting by itself to change in pressure and fly-ability (i dont know the exact term).

The cheap animation from NASA was moving exactly like the flying ray.

There is also a phenomenon called ground effect, which was used in the construction of the caspian sea monster (a huge russian airplane/ship), that could help such animal to "glide" a few feets above the water surface.

But, like flying fish, if such a thing as a flying ray would exist, we would have a lot of documentation on it by now.
