I do not ever want to get to the state where i live in fear of some catastrophe, so i have zero planning and intend to keep it that way, for two reasons really, do not play down the power of thought, if enough people worry about imminent danger then the universe is going to damn well give it so be warned, the other reason being not to worry because this is life, that is the genius thing, that none of us really knows what is around the corner, so just enjoy the moment of now, the present, the gift to us all. :cheers:

Regardless of the SHTF scenario, anyone who has been following the Prepper threads or Dom's site should already be on the way.

Basics people, basics.

Food, water, fire, shelter, defense.

Everything else is moot.

Yes a serious commited network of friends, family, other folks, should be a priority as well.

Guaranteed everyone will need someone else for something they don't have.

Better have some barter materials.

Any one of the five of the prepper bits above will work.

Other than that, I will fare fine.

One has to overcome fear first.

If yer gonna cower in a corner biting yer nails.....yer dead - in any scenario.

Just my two poorly minted cents.

No. I really don't think I'd want to be here trying to survive with all the freaks. Survival can make people do some ugly things. I've lived a full enough life, and I'm happy with that. Now, if I were to survive through a disaster, I guess i"d be one of those freaks. I do however keep enough around in case of a storm and power outage, about two weeks worth.

I wouldnt be that arsed but i would do my darndest for my daughter.If the shi* really hit the fan and it was me on my own then i guess i would kill a few zombies or find an offy (liquor store) and look for a tall building.
