Do you think children choose us, before they are born?

I have had the same dream for the last couple of years where I have a little girl in my care. In the dream she is my daughter (I have two son's in real life). A few years ago she was about 5 years old in the dream. Last night she was about 11 years old in the dream. She lived at the South Pole. She was there to watch the star's with a telescope. Last night she showed me the stars. She hugged me and said she understood why I had'nt been around to parent her. Anyway this 'daughter' dream I have about once or twice a year. I have always had this feeling that she is a spirit child that wants to be born through me.

(PS this dream goes against my general belief system because I don't believe that children choose us before they are born)

But hey.... I'm having these dream's.. I wonder if anyone else has had simular dreams. I could just be a fruitcake or maybe the litte girl represents me.. Anyway my Disclose family, I'm just sharing.

maybe you are wanting /needing a little girl in the family-a lot of people do! bless!! :hugging:

sometimes i think the not yet born are in a que,and there's so many of them,(spirit/soul)
i bet when was born-i was thinking-who the hell are these two plonkers saying ga ga goo goo-oh no i got of at the wrong stop-send me back. lol :lol:

I have always held the belief that before you are conceived you are allowed to view the highlights and lowlights of your life to be, before you decide if you want to born into it. I am not religious but I do believe in a loving god and the eternal soul. I have been visited by my mom and dad and my brother in my dreams. Take it for what it is. Just smile and know.

I do personally believe Jax that children choose to be born in a particular setting, for whatever reason.

In Budhism, These preminition dreams are thought to be "common" amoung Budhist believers. I live in Thailand, and people here openly talk about it.
I used to think it's an absolute co-incident, but after many years of self encountered experience, I started to believe.
Many of the ladies (who are now, mothers of 1 to 2 childrens) I talk to, were working women who were married but were not trying to get pregnant due to their carreer. They would tend to spent most of their time thinking about their Work, Shopping or a Weekend trip rather than having a baby, because they didn't want to end their "fun" life so soon.
But all the sudden, they would start to dream about "chlidren" asking them if they come to live in the house, the dream would comes and goes, not a daily occurance but about every 4-7 days in average, and can last up to a month.
then after a while, they would found out that they got pregnant.
In Budhism, it's a common belief that each soul were allocated a parents who would be part of their "already dictated life" which also dictated by "karma" each soul is carrying.
It's also a common knowledge too that you can practise your self to increase these "special sensory" by daily meditation.

The Children that are Born to Us , that have some form of Illnesses, or Disabilties, are given to Us , because We are Loving and Compassinate, no matter how painful or tearful, We were chosen because They know We will be there for Them , no matter how Hard and Difficult it will be !!................

Some Believe that We are Souls / Spirits , on a Journey to a Higher Plane, and We choose different experiences , Situations, Places, People, to help Us onto the next Vibration..........

i dont want to be an asshole but i have one possible theory...here me out...
you said you have two boys ...i dont know the ages . but is it possible your wife may have kept a first pregnancy secret from you early on and had a miscariage or an abortion.
and what your experiencing is your daughter speaking to you through your dreams.
i would hope that what i just said is not true but ive read stuff like this in a book about dream meanings.
It could be your own self concience telling you that somethings amuck .

I don't think this has anything to do with anyone except you; dreams of children are usually dreams about your inner child trying to make contact with you. In addition, another clue is that the child is always female.

I don't think it is a coincidence that the dream takes place at the south pole... talk about one cold, hard environment to survive in, but hey, at least she's looking up to the stars. ;)
