Doctor admits that most MDs know nothing about nutrition, health
http://www.naturalnews.com/029934_docto ... ition.html
Most people probably assume that their doctors know everything there is to know about health because, after all, they went through many years of medical school. But according to a recent New York Times piece written by a doctor, most medical schools teach few, if any, courses in nutrition, and most students graduate and become doctors with no sense of how nutrition plays a vital role in maintaining good health.
Folks...just a coincidence nothing to worry about, why should the food we eat play any important role in the maintenance of good human health?...jesus...

Naturopathic physicians are the way forward,if you want real health,if you want a real diagnosis with real treatmens that's where i'd be,of course,i don't plan on being sick ...ever... and i don't think i will be ...and if i am i will be able to self diagnose and treat.Which is what i often do with great success with my family and friends who like most people don't take their health as seriously as they should imo.

i like your style doc, food indeed is one of the basics of our lives and should be well protected.
yesterday i saw food inc. and damn that movie rumbled my foundations lol.
but there's improvement ^^. i k now for fact that in my city the medical university has several courses on the importance of food obligatory for doctors & nurses & social workers.
yay for progressssss

Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.

Yes there is definetely progress and we should have most of our focus and energies on this.
For instance the show in the UK River Cottage, the guy in that Hugh Whittingstall is a legend. He has a scheme up and running called landshare(Google it) where millions of acres of unused land in the UK is to be utilised by the people to grow food on.It's a simple idea but one that could change our lives for the better,we need to take back our power to grow our own food in our own back yards and not just in the UK.
From personal experience, from being someone who used to just talk the talk and NOT walk the walk with regards to true natural healthy living i can state categorically 100% with all the honesty in my heart that eating organic, consuimng organic juices 4 times/week,eating living sprouts, taking the superfood greens like chlorella and spirulina, filtering your water and also i like my chinese tonic herbs which is optional i guess, folks this stuff works, forget everything else.....
That's all i can say,this stuff works!!

hellahyeah!
on cnn last week there was an interview with a new york restaurant guy and he said that he was able to supply his restaurant with vegetables growing on his roof 10/12 months a year thanks to certain new technologies!
how awesome is that

btw, that food growing/sharing idea is pretty neat. we have something similar here but not that large scale
