It's been my experience Rhodiola Rosea is even more effective than St.John's.
I started using it to give my marathon training a boost.amazing stuff, great for many things. At the time of using it i did'nt know it was a known anti-depressant but in a short period of time(2 weeks) after using it i found found that out myself. It's probably the first natural substance i tried that made me re-evaluate my thinking toward 'alternative' health, never looked back since then to be honest. :D
Rhodiola definetely 100% works for me and is something i'm a big fan of.
:flop:

to be honest ,it hurts me to dwell on it,recently a friends 16 year old daughter was put on prozac cos she told the nurse at school she felt bit sad that day, took my mate a year to get her off them, and he said she was like a zombie, made me so angry a doctor could do this, anyhow, its a touchy subject for me,ive known others too,

:headscratch: Hmm, perhaps I'm missing something, but anxiety is not synonymous with depression. So showing studies that reveal it helps with depression does not discount the potential fact that it has no/little effect on anxiety.
