Space (as in outer space) cannot exist and you cannot ever get there as a destination for the simple reason that you will never get there, it is infinite. Space can really be described as meaning ‘nothing’. It is empty, hollow, void of anything. If you were to leave in a rocket right now you would always be looking for ‘space’ for no matter how far you travelled you would still have the propensity to travel farther.

So no T2R ‘space’ in its context cannot exist.

Planets exist, as do stars as do a lot of things, ‘space’ does not.

Space in the context of the availability of ‘room’ does exist, but only in so far as the ‘room’ is concerned. So you have an empty box, there is ‘space’ (room) in the box for some items, it is not infinitum in that box, it has capacity limits.

Outer space is infinitum as far as we can tell without walls or limits. Space in terms of ‘room’ exists and we (earth) are a part of it, just like it exists in the empty box, just a lot more of it. However, ‘space’ in the context of a destination is not there, you will never reach it because no matter where you are you will always be travelling to get there.

Confused? good, cos so am I...

Precisely

Space, time and matter was allegedly created at the moment the big bang happened and my understanding is that space continues to expand like a growing bubble. What I would like to understand is what does or did space expand into at that moment? What was the big bang? Was it when all the matter in another dimension came together to form a Singularity then burst through into this dimension causing the big bang?

The charlatans who concocted this outlandish theory are not sure about the answers to none of your questions either

This is all great, but i think that the truth about our "space", and everything else on that matter is well known today. and i'm not talking about these mainstream schoolbook "theories" :robot:

My theory is that it's impossible to have nothing, and impossible to have infinity, so when there is nothing, matter is created by force, somehow, and when the expansion is so large that the fabric of space and time can no longer hold things together, everything collapses back in on itself.

Sometimes I think that if everything that existed was smashed into a singularity, all consciousness would converge and become what people refer to as "god", and in that very same instant, it would realize that it wants to have experiences and it will split up, thus creating another big bang and starting all over again.
The two choices we have are something starting from nothing, or something existing infinitely. These are both paradoxes. The existence of everything is therefore a paradox. -daemonfoe

[quote="frutty"]And I continue, if I see the Moon in plain daylight, then the sun should be behind the Moon. Right? Then howcome I am able to see it crystal clear?

The earth's atmosphere does NOT extend to the moon and has no effect on it's light.
Maybe another source of light like our planet?
I lean towards the giant LED light shining from Mars. :alien51:  :D :P
