I may be silly, but sometimes in the morning and even at noon when I see the Moon in plain daylight I wonder ... how is this possible? Should not the earth's atmosphere outshine the Moon's brightness? Is the Moon inside our atmosphere?

And I continue, if I see the Moon in plain daylight, then the sun should be behind the Moon. Right? Then howcome I am able to see it crystal clear?

I guess you could say I have faith that it is there and believe the astronomers and brilliant minds of the past. Study the moon and it's orbit and you will understand why you see it.
