Do the chemtrails "create" algae or is it just coloured red?
good question.

Red rain in Kerala
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_rain_in_Kerala
From July 25 to September 23, 2001, red rain sporadically fell on the southern Indian state of Kerala. Heavy downpours occurred in which the rain was colored red, staining clothes pink.[1] Yellow, green, and black rain was also reported. Colored rain had been reported in Kerala in as early as 1896 and several times since then.
It was initially thought that the rains were colored by fallout from a hypothetical meteor burst, but a study commissioned by the Government of India found that the rains had been colored by airborne spores from locally prolific terrestrial algae.
It was not until early 2006 that the colored rains of Kerala gained widespread attention when the popular media reported that Godfrey Louis and Santhosh Kumar of the Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam proposed a controversial hypothesis that the colored particles were extraterrestrial cells.

Was the red rain in India evidence of alien microbes from deep space? Does that explain how life started on Earth? Are we all aliens? Or was the red rain just unusual red algae from the Indian waters? You make your own decisions with this video from BBC Horizon show 'We are the aliens'.

Pink snow has been documented since the time of Aristotle:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watermelon_snow
We might be seeing more of this pink snow in the near future; not only does it love cold temperatures, but it also has natural protection from UV radiation (so when the ozone is gone, it has a better chance of survival than most other species).
According to the YouTube video about the red rain in India, this is obviously NOT the same thing as what happened in Pennsylvania (if it really is Chlamydomonas nivalis) because of two things: one- it was too warm in India for this algae, and two- what fell on India didn't have any DNA.
I also hesitate to believe that what fell on India was evidence of life seeding itself on earth because ALL natural life on earth has either DNA or RNA... If earth was randomly seeded by the cosmos, then it would only be natural that there would already be SOMETHING here on earth that resembles what fell on India (something without DNA).
But one thing I would like to know is if there is any connection between red rain and chemtrails, morgellons, or nanotechnology?

The only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn from history.
Another great presentation from BBC5tv. Check out the chem trail patterns from space.

sorry unrelated off topic..
here is a small story... back in the day when OBAMA came here to south Florida.. during his campaign..
the chemtrails started early morning... and did this alllllllllllllll day... I recorded it and they did it till about 7 or 8PM at night...
I was like wow I have never ever seen it this bad ever!
well later.... found out OBAMA was here about 20 minutes away
figured they sprayed.... for some reason... cause he was here...
who knows whats in the chemtrails.. maybe a mood altering drug?
maybe to block radar?
I dont think they would spray to kill or harm would they if a future president was in town?
maybe the chemtrails are used for many different reasons...
maybe to block the sun... or keep the heat in...
I dont think I will ever in my life time see another normal sky again like I did when I was a kid...
