Oh boy oh boy. :bang;

Don't give out cancer drugs if it's just to extend life: Treatment costs can't be justified, say experts
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/artic ... z1ZFspIzyB :rtft:

Patients with terminal cancer should not be given life-extending drugs, doctors said yesterday.

The treatments give false hope and are too costly for the public purse, they warned.

'I would hardly call this type of treatment futile,' said Rose Woodward, of the James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer.

'We have kidney cancer patients on a life-prolonging drug called Sutent who have been told they have only two to three weeks to live but who go on to live for a further five years.'

IT'S ABOUT WEALTH NOT HEALTH- UNARGUABLE FACT- SPREAD FAR AND WIDE.. to the sceptics :|

I know a lot of you might not agree with me but I actually agree, my nephew died last year of an inoperable brain tumor and it seemed to me that the last year of his life he was more a paycheck for the hospitals than a patient. I realize that it bought one more year with him for my sister but I got to tell you that wasn't really what I call quality time. If we didn't pump tons of money on things that we know won't cure cancer than maybe it will force big pharma to actually develop meds that do work. Right now they just sell poisons that they developed thirty years ago for obscene amounts of money. Just my opinion.
If it looks like a duck, acts like a duck, and quacks like a duck it is probably just a tool of the conspiracy.

I know y'all are gonna think I'm a loon...

But recently I have begun contemplating the idea of "healthcare martyrs"- terminally ill people willing to forgo the bullshit from insurance companies, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies and die with dignity and a purpose- to allow their stories to be publicized in order to force health care reform and preserve health care for the next generation.

I'll hide now.

- Yip, big problem though, PATENTS and big pharma cannot patent nature and therein lies our biggest problem, ONLY nature can truly heal us. I'm speaking from personal experience and that of others i know.

Nope, that would be a good thing. That would you would hope help to wake people up to the scam of big pharma and their toxic concotions that do more harm than good. Most people with cancer do not die of cancer but they die of the 'treatments' they are receiving and most people that forgo the treatments and do nothing live longer. I've met numerous people over the years who claimed to have cured their cancers with vegetable juices, well it's not a claim really when you meet these people you KNOW they are tellin the truth...and all of them were aware of the organic issue and the importance of it when using juices theraputically. Cancer is not a big deal, the established mindset of it IS and that almost terminates many patients in their own right. :censored:

My 16 year old niece who died of the biggest Osteo Blastoma tumor in the world, would not agree, I do not agree, my sister would not agree, or my nephew, If people can have their time extended and they choose to have that, they fucking should, and fuck absolutely anyone who says differently.

Sure! Patients should be given the choice!!!

I wonder if Cosmine will read this thread and understand why Americans don't think nationalized healthcare is such a great idea.

This is the byproduct of Rationed, national health care. and an obvious sign of higher civilization....

The problem of there being governments in control of the money, is the rationalization of who gets to live and die.

Maybe the point of it all should be assisted suicide, in that, those who wish to die, should be assisted.
Certainly the cost is an issue, Profit more so, which breaks down to monetary systems and maybe allowing a society to become depended on government for their lively hood, such as generations of people dependent on welfare, to keep the governmental status alive. Was a large mistake.

I am fairly certain that, if innovation and invention was not strangled by the pursuit of monetary gain, then we would have the cures, and invention to have taken us generations beyond where we are now.
