You might like:
I am a dwarf from the slums who gets caught stealing all the time. I'm trying to fuck the black haired wild witch woman but she will only let me kiss her(for now). Fuck! I even helped her out by finding her mothers spellbook and then killing her mother for her. (Her mother was an evil dragon who raised daughters to a certain age and then took over their bodies so she could live forever. She was doing it for hundreds of years.) What's wrong Bioware? If I do all that I should get to fuck her, right?
i guess it's safe to say...you don't have a girlfriend,do you?good luck with that.

i am responsible for my own words, act and deeds

I guess if some folks having that choice makes you not want to buy a game then that is your right but I personally see nothing wrong with it.
It astounds me personally how everyone wants their own personal rights but the rights of other citizens mean less.
Somebody enjoyed the Adam Lambert performance.
Oh how nice. Me stating that I dont give a damn if a company seeks to expand its potential audience means that I must enjoy that which they offer.
I could tell you exactly what I thought about the Adam Lambert performance but what is the point really? You don't care about that, you just wanted a witty way to say I am gay because I dont care that a gaming company seeks to reach out to said audience because their money is green too.
Dragon Age: Another game I won't be buying.
Now 'Serious Sam HD' came out today. Wish I had a better computer I would get it.

Too true...Kudos to Bioware for breaking barriers yet again and going beyond what most companys find safe. There is nothing wrong with offering choices in the world they have created so that players can enjoy those said choices if they wish. It's there but you don't have to go that route..kinda sounds like choices in life to me. Making fun of others because they applaud the simple fact that there is a choice is just downright idiotic, unless of course you don't believe in the freedom of choice???
Of course!
Nothing wrong at all with embedding gay sex scenes
in a game bought primarily for and by children.
I applaud the defense of marketing the gay agenda to underage kids
while masquerading it as progressive thought.
Its brilliant...and slimy all at the same time.

Warfare and Death are embedded in games bought primarily by children much more often. I would say Gay Sex has harmed Mankind much less then Warfare. I am not saying such should be removed, people have to make choices in their life. If you are going to demonize certain "agenda's" in games then I suppose you are going to have to jump on board with the "crazies" who think violence should be removed from games.
Hi. I'm pretty new and I don't chime in very often but what the hell.
First off, there's probably a misconception among a lot of people that all video games are intended for kids. This isn't true, and DragonAge is anything but a kids game. True, fantasy is kind of childish stuff in a way, but there are lots of games made nowadays that clearly don't have kids in mind as their target audience and this is one. It isn't intended for kids anymore than Pulp Fiction was.
That said, a lot of games nowadays are starting to explore themes which they wouldn't touch upon before, presumably all in the attempt to make games better reflection of real life.
- You can still kill stuff as always, but the violence is becoming very realistic.
- Systems of action and consequence are being built in.
ie: kill someone early in the game and you might be punished by having a bad reputation or something like that.
- Sex is starting to become a real thing in video games. Like it or not, sex is a huge force in most peoples' lives, and if you can capture that in a video game intended for those people, then it's completely understandable. I remember playing The Witcher, the quests that involved getting laid at the end were a huge priority for me. Now I'm not some weird sex maniac, but just as a guy, it translated into the game instantly. People have sex in movies, so it only seems natural that it should start to work its way into video games.
So that all said, I'm sure all that Bioware was attempting to do was to cater to a wider fan-base by allowing players to go for guys as well as girls, which they would be able to do in real life. They're not shoving it down anyone's throat. I haven't played the game, but I would suspect that this elf character probably comes off pretty gay, and then the character can deal with it as they like.
That said, it was a pretty bold move, and we'll see if they end up getting more fans than they alienate. I've always loved Bioware's games and I've been stoked about this one for a long time so I can't wait to play it when I get some time.

yea, and if it were a gay porn fest between dwarfs, humans, witches, warlords, warlocks, wizards, juggernauts, knights, ghosts, and kings I'd agree with you...
but it occurs ONCE during the game and was meant to be an obscure find...not a blatant "press here for gay sex"
anyways, does your stance surprise any of us?
not at all....
How many times must you honk your horn and say fuck you?
Now what the fuck does that do?
You feel better now, I didnt let you pass.
How bout I stop my car and beat your fuckin' ass?
