Dragon Discovered in China?

Two photos of a Chinese man holding and then gutting what appears to be a small dragon has surfaced on the internet. Some people are quick to dismiss the pictures as fake, but if they are indeed fake then why create them at all? I doubt the pictures are photoshop, my gut tells me that this creature could be a rare lizard of some kind, i have been unable to find any lizards that match the one one in the pictures, but maybe some of you guys can solve the mystery. Is it a Dragon or something else, as always you decide.

I swear i've seen that debunked, as a guy who CGI'd in a Dragon, on a pic of a guy holding a Big Snake

Something about the pic having a underlayer to it, that was able to be seen in different contrasts
