Love it, congrats! What you need is some praying mantis, they are great natural way to keep your plants/garden from aphids and other leaf eating insects. Also hmm I'll have to look it up, there is a little tiny wasp(can't remember the name) they are excellent for keeping those pesky caterpillars away. I'll re post when I find the name, I do know you can order both online though.

Here's an article about the wasps.

Thanks mate, well this is only my second year of growing my own and thus far it has been very successful,i am expanding for next year, after that i will have no more room left but i will have lots of fruit and veg,i'm trying to plan ahead. As for the praying mantis, would you believe that is my no-1 favourite insect, how cool are they.Hmm,so you can buy them and then what though? Leave them in the garden?..won't they fly away?..

mate you are getting me excited here..
'Each praying mantis egg case will hatch about 100-200 tiny mantises, all at once.'

'Several egg cases may be laid before cold winter finally sets in. This new generation of praying mantis will hatch when warm weather returns, to repeat the process.' (Amazing!)
Right i'm getting them on my list for next year!!..
-Praying Mantis are out of stock. The new season will begin in December 2010.
