Kel-Tec KSG KSG .12 GA Pump Action Shotguns

The Kel-Tec KSG bullpup pump-action shotgun in .12 GA features an 18.5-inch barrel, black finish, no sights, cylinder bore choke, 2.75-inch chamber, soft rubber butt pad, downward ejection, internal dual tube magazines, picatinny rails, and a 14 round capacity.

Kel-Tec is expected to release the KSG at the first of 2012.

NOTICE: The KSG is already in extremely high demand. Wait times on deposit orders could be 6-12 months or more. Deposits on this item are non-refundable, although we may transfer the deposit to another item.
From the manufacturer

The KSG is Kel-tec's first entry into the shotgun market. The size, shape and design are similar to the currently available Kel-Tec RFB rifle, but the KSG ejects downward, instead of forward. The KSG weighs 6.9lbs and is as compact as legally possible with a 26.1 inch overall length and an 18.5 inch cylinder bore barrel. Even with this compact size, the internal dual tube magazines hold an impressive 14 rounds of 12 gage 2-3/4 inch rounds (7 per tube). The simple and reliable pump action feeds from either the left or right tube. The feed side is manually selected by a lever located behind the trigger guard. The lever can be positioned in the center detent in order to easily clear the chamber without feeding another round from either magazine. A cross bolt style safety blocks the sear, and the pump release lever is located in front of the trigger guard.

The pump includes an under Picatinny rail for the mounting of a forward grip, or a light or laser. The included top Picatinny sight rail will accept many types of optics or iron sights. Forward and rear sling loops are built in, and a basic sling is included. The soft rubber butt pad helps to tame recoil.

IWI 7.62mm LMG with Semi-Automatic Mode

Posted by Tactical-Life.com. Author Archive »

NEGEV NG7 LMG (Light Machine Gun) 7.62mm by IWI. Semi-Automatic Mode - The NEGEV NG7 - the Next Generation of the NEGEV Family of LMGs.

Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) – a leader in the production of combat-proven small arms for governments, armies, and law enforcement agencies around the world – launches its new Light Machine Gun (LMG) - the NEGEV NG7 - at DefExpo India 2012 (New Delhi, March 29-April 1) , Israel Pavilion, Stand 11.10-L and FIDAE International Air & Space Fair (Santiago, Chile, March 27-April 1) Israel Pavilion, Hall D, Stand 1a.

The NEGEV NG7 - the newest in the company’s NEGEV LMG family - is the only 7.62mm caliber LMG in service today with semi-automatic mode, capable of pinpoint, single bullet shooting for enhanced firing accuracy.

Image

The NEGEV NG7 shares almost 80% of its components with its smaller brother, the NEGEV 5.56mm caliber - IWI’s exceptionally successful and reliable LMG - which is deployed in dozens of countries around the world including Israel, and has been combat-proven in several wars and in a number of battle arenas.

The NEGEV NG7 includes a semi-automatic firing mode that enables accurate fire in combat situations, including ambush, Close Quarter Battle (CQB), and when shooting via telescope – and is the only 7.62 with single bullet firing capability. In automatic mode, its rate of fire is over 700 bullets per minute. Exceptionally lightweight (weighing less than 8 kg), it can be fired from a variety of mounts, including special mounts on helicopters, land vehicles, and naval vessels.

Features include a gas regulator for additional power in harsh conditions such as mud and dirt, tritium night sights, picattiny rails for optical and other devices, and four safety mechanisms to minimize unwanted fire. The NEGEV NG7 - which delivers remarkable Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and long service life - is drum or belt-chain fed, fires from an open bolt position, and is easily dismantled for maintenance in the field.

According to Uri Amit, CEO of IWI, “The new NEGEV NG7 represents the next generation of NEGEV LMGs - providing improved ergonomics as well as increased component reliability. These advances, together with its unique characteristics, make it the most effective lightweight 7.62 available for infantries. As with all other weapons built by IWI, it was developed together with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The close cooperation between IWI and the Israeli army in the development of new weapons – and the testing of these weapons on the battlefield by the IDF – is one of the most important factors contributing to the success of our weapons among armies around the world. The NG7 is already generating interest among our customers, and we have received many requests to test it. We are certain that it will become an important part of our product line.”

M-16 vs AK-47

M-16 is more accurate
AK-47. It is more reliable.
Which would you choose?

Concealed Carry Holsters for Women

Kevin D. Michalowski | Feb 17, 2012

I am not qualified to discuss many women’s issues. I know that. I am also smart and polite enough to keep most of my opinions in those areas to myself.

So, when it comes to concealed carry holsters for women, I tend to pause and scratch my chin in an attempt to look knowledgeable. But in reality, I think people can see right through that. Perhaps I can offer a little advice, but ask for even more.

I’m asking any women reading this to look over the photos here and comment. We’ve got belly bands with shoulder straps, holsters that hook to the front or side of the bra, concealed carry shorts and and undershirt with an integral holster. Ladies, what worksfor you? And why?

These look like they would work as athletic shorts, too. Ladies, you tell me.

Clint Smith will tell you that carrying a gun is not supposed to be comfortable, it is supposed to be comforting. But comfort is important because if carrying a gun is a pain in the ass, or anywhere else, you will often choose not to carry it. Then what good is it?

The reality is that you have to have your gun when you need it. You don’t ever want to be ducking for cover wishing you had your gun with you. So, I’m asking you to add to this discussion.

When it comes to your concealed carry handgun, have you found a comfortable place to carry it and keep it concealed? Our readers want to know. Your CCW girlfriends want to know. Pass this note around and let’s get the conversation started! Look at the rest of these photos and make constructive comments. What are you thinking? What are you looking for in a concealed carry holster?

This is hooked to the bra strap. WIll it work?

The Flash Bang is getting lots of press. Does it work for you?

Image
A shirt and integral holster. Seems reasonble. What do you have to say?
