My theory of what is happening to our planet. I just want to share what I think.
I think that the major force which is transforming our planet is the sheer weight of our oceans. As polar caps melt, that weight is redistributed to our oceans. The added weight of even a 1/32" of water spread across an entire ocean is simply mind boggling. The ring of fire was created because of this distribution of weight. Entire continents are pushed away from the enormous mass of the oceans. Its basic math and physics. No conspiracy needed. If the weight becomes too great, the path of least resistance will be compromised.
The entire surface of our world could be transformed with this increase in ocean water. Let’s all pray that she'll hold.

I think you're just upset that I might make more sense than your post.

no i am not upset, your point of view is one i have not heard before and i find it an interesting theory.
i just think people should stop making new topics and put them all in one topic so it is easier to read

no need to say sorry pal
anyway in my opinion artic ice melting can not be the cause, simply put because the water always been here it's just melting ( atleast they say so, bullshit in my opinion)
my theory is a mix of everything, because i believe one single cause can not change the world so rapidly, but everything together might do the trick

Water expands when it freezes, unlike most things. Therefore, ice takes up more space than liquid water. If most of the ice is under water anyhow, wouldn't ice melting into liquid reduce the amount of space the water takes up?
If the ice were on land, then I could see water levels rising as the land locked water flows to the oceans, but if most of the ice is already in water (arctic...not including the antarctic as it's land), then the water level would decrease the more the ice melted.
This is just my take on things and only my perception from my limited knowledge. I might right the fuk out of'er with this LOL
Peace

I'm not talking about adding extra weight. I'm talking about redistributing weight. It makes a lot of sense. It is a cycle that science seems to be ignoring.
& the ice caps are melting. Regardless of the reason, the fact is, they are melting.

Yes, there is more to it, much more, but to keep it with water and ice :
Earth is like a giant ball (or more a pear) that's rotating quite fast.
The ice mass that's melting can have a big influence in destabilizing, causing a shift of the earth, because the inner part acts like a gyroscope but the crust can move, so it's not like you have to move the entire earth, just the crust.
The rising of the plate (where ice has melted) can also cause more tension, resulting in earthquakes.
